PNG provides a patent-free replacement for GIF and can also replace many common uses of TIFF. Most commonly used in website graphics or images. Pdf- A file format that provides an electronic image of text and graphics that looks like a printed document and can be viewed, printed, and electronically transmitted. DLT: By the end of class students will find and critique a black and white photo as evidence by adding their critique to a blog page on their website. If this picture were not in black and white but instead in color you would be able to tell what time of day it is in the picture. There would be a more a color visible in the sky setting the mood and time of day. Also the buildings would be in color so it would make all the buildings stand out separately instead of them all being the same shade having them blend in with each other and some of the surroundings like the trees.
